The widespread outbreak of kidney disease, the dire consequences of the disease, the cost of additional treatment, and the significant death of most kidney impaired patients, almost without treatment, are illustrated. At the same time, the importance of concerted and planned efforts of public/private and voluntary organizations or institutions has been emphasized to ensure kidney health for all. In addition to preventing the spread of the disease not only by treatment but also by prevention. For this, awareness is the only way.

The speakers said this at a roundtable meeting organized by the Volunteer Organization Campus on Saturday (9th March 2019). Speakers said that every effort should be made to ensure the right of the kidney patients in remote areas of the country irrespective of the rich or poor or privileged sections of the country.

Kidney Hours Monitoring and Prevention Society (CAMP), the country's leading kidney NGO, organized the roundtable on Saturday (March 9th) as part of a program to celebrate "World Kidney Day 2019".

The President of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) was present as the panel negotiator. Mostafa Jalal Kidney Foundation President Dr. Haroon Aur Rashid, President of Bangladesh Renal Association Prof. Rafiqul Alam, joint secretary of the Ministry of Health. Saifullah Azam, Managing Director, and CEO of Sonali Bank Limited Obaid Ullah Al Masud, Principal Major General Professor of Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College Hospital. HR Aaron, former captain of Bangladesh National Cricket Team Ghazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu, film actor and model. Nirb Hossain.

Campus founder and president Dr. MA Samad conducted roundtable meetings and presented key articles on how to prevent, cure kidney disease and equal opportunity for the treatment of kidney disease.

Professor Dr. Harun-ur-Rashid said that in developed countries, 20 to 25 percent of total kidney transplantation is from close relatives. But in Bangladesh, there are hundreds of close relatives who have donor laws that need to be changed. Kidney transplantation can be accomplished by collecting kidney transplants of patients who die in premature or premature and disease-related diseases. There are now 200 to 250 transplants a year, but it can be possible to transplant 1500 to 2,000 transplants in the kidney collectors of deceased persons.

Professor Dr. Rafiqul Alam said the camps have earned fame at home and abroad by their relentless work in preventing kidney disease. 850 million kidney patients are in the 113th stage of kidney disease in the World Health Organization (WHO) lineup. Kidney problems are having a negative impact on socioeconomic status in the country today. Access to treatment is the major reason behind this. She said the government and the Prime Minister herself are sincere in this regard because the ministry already has a directive to set up a kidney bed in every government hospital.

Dr. In his original article, MA Samad said that the prevalence of kidney disease across the globe is huge. In Bangladesh, more than two million people are infected with some kidney disease. Kidney disorder treatment is costly, so 10% of the patients in this country cannot continue this treatment. This means that the majority of patients die prematurely from medical treatment. On the other hand, it is possible to prevent kidney failure in 50 to 60 percent of cases if you are a little aware. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the presence and cause of kidney disease in the primary stage and treat it. He places more emphasis on healthy lifestyle practices. Exercise regularly, controlling weight, not smoking, moderately healthy foods, insist on avoiding raw salt.

He cites the main cause of kidney disease is diabetes, hypertension, and cholesterol. For this, he demanded free medicines for poor patients. At the same time, I urge all to be covered under health insurance.
