Our biggest problem is that we don't care about mental illness as much as we care about physical illness. We practice to keep the body well, we eat according to the rules but the mental health remains neglected. But a person's physical well-being will come only when he can be mentally healthy.

Now that the people around us do not have a problem with mental problems, we need to make sure that we never get mentally ill. And all we need to do to stay mentally healthy is:

1. Stay in touch with friends and family
Family, then friends; But these are the people who love you the most. The closer you are to them, the more peace of mind you will have. We often do things that are not right at all. That is, we keep our mental problems to ourselves. I do not say it openly in front of anyone. But our family and friends are our biggest psychiatrists.

One hour of counseling by a psychiatrist is far more beneficial than a little sincerity, a little support from the people around us. The current era is the corporate era. But we need to make sure that relationships are not lost in this corporate age, at least for our mental well-being.

We should have at least one day a week for these close people. If you talk to people close to you one day, you will see that the stress of the whole week will go away completely.

2. Keep in touch with the same kind of people
Whatever you like, keep in touch with people who are interested in the same thing. The only way to keep in touch with these people is through clubbing. If you are passionate about debates, join the Debate Club. If you enjoy reading books, join the reading program. If you are interested in physical exercise, join the gym.

If you do not find what you are looking for then just ask.

3. Work as a volunteer
There are many organizations in our country that work with a lot of volunteers. If you want, you can work as a volunteer in one of them or in many places by yourself. To be a volunteer, you have to do a lot of work, but it is not. You can help a visually impaired person cross the road if you want. Doing these things can bring a lot of peace of mind.

4. Do hobbies
Every human being needs to have a hobby. People who know how to do hobbies suffer from depression much less than others because these hobbies do not give them leisure to suffer from depression.

So make yourself a hobby. It can range from sewing or cooking to badminton or cricket. The lazy brain is called the Devil's Workshop. It is in this lazy time that various bad thoughts come into our head which makes us mentally ill.

5. Stay active
As I said at the beginning, never let the mind be lazy. Always be in the middle of work. Then the mind will be good.

6. Keep the diet good
Protein is good for relaxation and omega-three is good for the brain. So always try to keep omega three and protein-rich foods in between meals. Omega 3 is found in marine fish oil. Drink plenty of water and avoid unhealthy foods as much as possible. Keep the food menu fresh every day.

7. Get enough sleep
Go to bed early every day. Get enough sleep and if not, relax with your eyes closed for 10 minutes a day.

8. Learn something new
Learn to do something new. By doing this, your skill will increase, time will pass and your mind will be better.

9. Stay well for now
It is better not to do the old worries now. It would have been better if that had happened - since that didn't happen, there's no need to worry about it anymore.
